A John Rutter Extravaganza! A Concert not to be missed!

Bow Valley Chorus and the Banff Centre are proud to present John Rutter's choral masterpiece, Mass of the Children. Joining Bow Valley Chorus are the very talented Calgary Children's Choir; Mount Royal College's Arioso Choir and soloists, soprano Karen Minish and baritone Gene Wu. Mass of the Children is a truly sublime and uplifting work that is remarkably accessible to all listeners. Simply put, it is very moving and beautiful.

To compliment this glorious evening of Rutter's music, Bow Valley Chorus will perform his majestic and stirring Te Deum.

John Goulart, music director of Bow Valley Chorus, conducts the choirs, soloists and orchestra in both of these magnificent works.

Adding to this musical feast, will also be featured solo performances by Calgary Children's Choir and Arioso Choir.

Bow Valley Chorus has become a vital and integral part of the Banff-Canmore cultural community. Since its genesis, Bow Valley Chorus under the talented direction of John Goulart, has performed a wide variety of classical compositions. Past productions include Mozart's Requiem and Great Mass in C Minor, Vivaldi's Gloria, Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass, Fauré's Requiem, Rutter's Requiem, Magnificat, Te Deum and Reluctant Dragon, and numerous performances of Handel's Messiah.
